February homes sales and prices down in Corpus

Corpus Christi had 231 home sales in February 2010.  This is a 2 percent drop from 2009’s 235 and a 19 percent drop from 2008’s 284 sales.

The average and median prices also dropped from last year.  The average price was $141,700, which is 2 percent lower.  The median price had a higher drop of 11 percent to $119,700.
